High-Quality Component Surface Protection

Improved Component Functionality

We implement coating and surface treatments primarily to safeguard the underlying material from wear, improve friction performance, enhance corrosion/oxidation resistance, or augment thermal protection. The functionality of a component or mechanical subsystem can be improved by utilizing appropriate coatings and treatments. Consult with us to obtain expert advice on the optimal coating solution that will optimize the performance of your components and systems.

Applications for Friction and Wear Resistance

Coated or treated mating surfaces in mechanical applications with high loads (e.g. trim and form tools, shaft/bushing pairs) improve wear resistance. Common treatments include DLC, TiN, TiAlN, CrN thermal spray coating and NiCrB surface alloys, which we can offer through our network of Thin Film Coating partners.

Corrosion Resistance

We offer industry-standard surface treatments on components to protect against corrosion and oxidation in hostile industrial environments such as anodizing and nickel plating. Other complete coverage methods, such as thermal-spray coating, can also provide corrosion protection.
