Production Planning Assistant

Job Location: Singapore West Lok Yang Road
Job Types: Permanent Full time Onsite 5 days

Job Responsibilities:

1. Production Scheduling:

• Utilize planning software to create and maintain production schedules for CNC machining orders.
• Ensure efficient allocation of resources, such as machines, materials, and labor, to meet production demands.
• Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate rush orders, capacity changes, and resource availability.

2. Communication:

• Collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure alignment of production schedules with shop floor capabilities and constraints.
• Work with the sales and customer service teams to respond to customer order request dates promptly and accurately.
• Communicate any potential scheduling conflicts or delays to relevant parties.

3. Customer Order Management:

• Review and analyze customer orders and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to accommodate requests for order expediting or postponement.
• Ensure on-time delivery by proactively identifying and addressing potential production bottlenecks.

4. Data Analysis:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including work orders, schedules, and lead times.
• Analyze historical production data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to enhance production efficiency and minimize lead times.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance production planning and scheduling methods.
• Provide feedback and insights to contribute to the development of best practices in production planning.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant diploma.
• One year of experience in machine shop or production planning.
• Proficient in Excel.
