CMM Quality Inspector

Job Location:  Singapore West Lok Yang Road
Job Types:  Permanent Full time Onsite 5.5 days

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Quality Inspector. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting first article inspections and meticulously examining parts and products using various desktop measuring tools such as CMM, and Smart scope. This role involves conducting inspections at incoming, outgoing, and in-process stages to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of parts and products using desktop measuring tools, CMM, and Smart scope at different stages (incoming, outgoing, and in-process).
• Conduct inspections of parts using measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometer, bore gauge and height gauge.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports.
• Implement and oversee corrective and preventive action programs to address customer complaints and drive improvement plans, particularly for critical customer products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process control and overall quality.
• Manage customer complaints effectively and execute corrective and preventive action plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Foster strong communication and collaboration with customers and various departments to meet and exceed quality requirements.
• Have knowledge in calibrating measuring equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in relevant field such as Engineering
• Have the knowledge to use measuring equipment such as CMM, Smart Scope, Profile Projector, Surface Roughness Tester, Vernier Caliper, ID and OD Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge.
